Sriracha Powder
Sriracha Powder
Our spicy Sriracha Powder (see-rah-CHA, and yes, you leave out the first R) delivers the flavor of the beloved condiment in an easy-to-use seasoning blend. Sriracha Powder is also known as sriracha seasoning powder or dried sriracha powder.
Sriracha, the popular American condiment, was launched by David Tran, a Vietnamese immigrant who came to Los Angeles in 1980. Tran’s recipe was adapted from a sauce that was made in the town of Si Racha, in Thailand, so he dubbed it “sriracha” to honor its history. It has become so popular that the term “sriracha” has become an umbrella term for spicy, pepper-based, Asian-style sauces and spice blends.
Sriracha has turned up on many kinds of menus and is not limited to Vietnamese, or even Asian, restaurants. Sriracha Powder is sought after by restaurants of all cuisines; sauce and condiment manufacturers; seasoning companies; and independent spice shops.
